How We Use AI

DeedTracker uses AI to help you build better job applications. Our AI features include resume parsing, cover letter generation, and deed extraction from your professional history.

These features are powered by Fireworks.ai, an AI inference platform that processes your data to generate tailored content.

What Data Is Sent

When you use an AI feature, the following data may be sent to Fireworks.ai for processing:

• Your professional accomplishments (deeds)
• Resume content you've uploaded or created
• Your name and profile information

Data Handling

• Data is not stored or retained by Fireworks after processing
• Data is never used for model training
• Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS)
• Processing happens on Fireworks' infrastructure in US-based data centers

Your Control

AI features are opt-in. You must explicitly enable AI content generation before any data is sent to Fireworks.ai. You can revoke your consent at any time from Settings → AI Data & Privacy. Revoking consent stops future data from being sent — your existing generated content remains available in your DeedTracker account.

Model Information

DeedTracker uses DeepSeek-V3 and other models served on Fireworks' infrastructure. Model selection may change as we optimize for quality and cost. All models operate under the same data handling policy: no storage, no training, no retention.
